Notes

Wow. Hope this turns out. Added an extra 2-3 QT water to facilitate sparging. No big deal. Pre-boil volume was high and gravity was a 10 pts low. Totally blew the hop weights though. I had adusted the recipe down from the 130 IBUs that I started with before adjusting the Alpha Acid content. But those lower values were not the values I added. I stuck with the oringal higher values. THEN because I was low on gravity, I decided to boil hard for an extra 15 mins to loose some volume/add some gravity. BUT i had already added the 60 min hops so no only will my IBUs be higher than it should but it may be even HIGHER than that! So I guess the lesson is RDWHAHB. Held 115*F after the boil to hopefully get some aroma from the "6 Min" addition that I added at 45 seconds.
