Taste Notes

11/19/14 - Tasted out of primary before adding first batch of dry hops, super smooth biterness, no off flavors. Expecting this to be best IPA yet.

Notes

Add 50% of the dry hops for 3 days, then the other 50% for 4 days. Water notes: Mash: 10.8 grams gypsum, 1.5 grams calc chloride. Sparge: 0.2ml phosphoric acid. Boil: 9.3 grams gypsum, 1.3 calc chloride. Preboil gravity dead on, but we were like 0.3 gallons less than we should have been. Did hopstand around 155 for 30 minutes. Aerated for 90 sec at 1/8. Dry hopped on 11/19/14 - substituted the centennial for the chinook because the cent was smelling weird. Dry hopped again on 11/25/14 - added 1.25oz amarillo, 1.25oz simcoe.
