Taste Notes

Fabulous Malt. Great hop flavour, not bitter but subdued. See the book referenced for the best writeup.

Notes

Extremely sessionable and highly enjoyable, some of the best malt flavours are found in this brew, a Munchner light lager. Adapted for beersmith by Whitaker Brews, modified for convenience. From the book "The Home Brewers Companion" by Charlie Papazian. Great reference book, great recipes, this is one of the best of them. Malt and hop profile slightly modified here. The full bodied mash profile is used to bring the malt forward, sacrificing fermentables and ABV for body and flavour. A lighter alcohol beer but bigger in flavour than many "big" beers.
