Notes

Derek came over and helped out during brew day, which was about 5 hours from beginning to end. Pitched yeast at 70 degrees. 20 Apr 2014: Added a medium toast french oak spiral (about 5 inches) to fermentation 23 Apr 2014: Dropped yeast. Brix = 6.9; Adjusted SG = 1.010 30 Apr 2014: Add dry hops, remove oak. 06 May 2014: Transfer to keg with gelatin (0.5 cup of water, 0.5 tsp gelatin, mixed at 104 degrees let stand for 10 minutes) 10 May 2014: Racked to serving keg and start carbonation. 16 May 2014: Cloudier than I was expecting; still tastes and smells a little "green" but there is some nice hop flavor and aroma in there.
