Notes

Mashed at 154 Didn't need to do a vorlauf, Jonah pulled the valve opened and dumped it on the floor halfway through the mash. Way too damn dark after the mash. Haven't even boiled yet and it is super red. Added all of the hops as ordered. Also added irish moss at 20 minutes. Plan to add some hops after fermentation begins. - .3 oz. Simcoe - .3 oz. Warrior Only came out to a little over 6 L (about 2/3 of a full batch. Should be some butt kicking good beer though! 10%??? Pitched one of my rewash vials of WLP 051. May not be enough. We'll keep watching it. OG - 1.084 FG - At the end of cleaning up, Jonah knocked the mash tun down the stairs. January 11 - fermentation going nicely. I guess the small amount of yeast was no big deal.
