Notes

MY FRIST BATCH: Room Tem was 68 F Rainey and cold Grain Steeded at 155 F for 40 Min - grain out and boild started Boiled 2 Gal In ALUMINIUM Turkey Cooker w/ 0.5 lbs Cara-Pils extract added 10 min into boil Hot break at +18 min After 60 min boil moved pot to sink, inserted colling coil and added 2 Gal Ice directly from bag. Temp reduced to 80 F quickly Added colf water +1 Gal and tem got to 74. Stirred, splasjed etc - batch to 72 F at which time time yeast was pitched Measured OG after cool down to 1.056 Yeast activated at 15:55 again temp at 68F - 17:30 (1h35min) later added to 2 ltr Wtr and a tbs malt extract No Yeast activity for 2 days...encreased room temp to 74F and batch started almost immediately Redueced temp to 70-72F
