Grain Absorption: 0.313 qt/lb * 15.125 lb = 4.734 qt (1.184 gal) NOTE: In pot use 0.7 gals less and adjust water later to reach desired volume. Total Water: 5.3gal + 1.5 gal + 1.184 gal - 0.7 gals = 7.284 gal (Use 0.5 gals to sparge) In pot use: 6.784 gals (or 6.0 gals and 2.968 L) ----------------------- Chad added 8g gypsum to the mash and 8g gypsum to the boil kettle and used tap water.
