Taste Notes

Very strong citrus arroma, well balanced with some sweetness and dry finish. Color is amber, slightly cloudy. Scored a 41 and won a Bronze medal at April 2013 CASK interclub competition.

Notes

First attempt at designing a recipe. Made change to hop due to error on recipe. Change first wort hopping to 1 oz for 60 min vice .83 at 90 min. Brewed on 3/23/12 - Missed mash temp low by 6+ degrees?? Added half a gallon 200 F water to raise temp to 153 F. Resulted in larger run off than needed and lower efficiency. Measured SG of 1.050 vice 1.063. Boiled an extra 15 minutes to reduce volume and raise gravity.
