Taste Notes
#7 was too carmely. Dropped the Carmel, kept the wheat and Munich, added .2% chocolate for a little color.
>Color looks much better. Bitterness seems higher at kegging, hop aroma and flavor is right there.
4/10: added gelatin to keg #1. The flavor seems to have a crystal/sweet characteristic. Hoping the gelatin will help clarity and flavor.
5/26: really mellow at this time. Hop flavor still fresh, bitterness has backed off.Notes
#181
2/15/18 brew day
Cal ale yeast, 4th gen (Cisco, Blonde, Shandy).
2/26: Dry hop #1 & #2 1oz Cascade, 1oz Chinook each.
3/2: Dry hop #1 1.5oz Centennial, 1.5oz Simcoe, 1oz Mosaic.
3/9/18: Kegged #1 (75g dex), cooled to 60 before kegging. Note, co2 leaked out. Noticed after putting keg in chilleezer. Hit it with 22psi twice a day four 4 days, ok now, but cloudier than I’d like.
3/14: transfer #2 and Dry hop, 1.5oz Centennial, 1.5oz Simcoe, 1oz Mosaic.
3/25: cold crash.
3/31: keg #2 (cold crashed to 35 for 4 days)
