Taste Notes

Tasting beer as it went into the keg, the clove is overpowering. I hope this settles with age. But it is a possible recipe adjustment going forward

Notes

Jingle bloody jangle! For when family seems like a prison Notes: 2017/12/26 - Fixed incorrect measurement. Dried fruid addition should be 250g, not 0.25g.

BJCP score

Scored 40 points at a local event. Very close to being a perfect beer.

Well worth brewing, and I suggest a 6 month aging period. An oak cask would add lovely woody notes, or else consider a sherry or rum cask.

Needs Aging!

After more than a year in the keg, this beer is smooth, complex and hides the alcohol very well.
