Taste Notes
Smooth sweet beer on first tasting after initial brewing.
Definitely taste the Alpen. Sort of sweet slightly sour milk.
Opened a 330ml bottle on 03-12-2017 exactly 2 weeks after bottling. A strange taste not unpleasant or great. Bitter finish and not the disaster I feared it might have been. But not a hit either.
Cracked open the last 500ml bottles of this dreadful brew. Still dreadful.Notes
I treated water 15ml of AMS (CRS blended Acids).
Also added 8 grams of both Calcium Carbonate and Brewers gypsum salts.
OG surprised me at 1060.
FG was 1028 so ABV was 4.2%.
