Taste Notes

a bit sweet at kegging. Turned out to be fantastic. Favorite porter so far,I think. Definitely has the same chocolately flavour that I remember from the one pint of Shallow Grave I had. Should be my go to porter from now on

Notes

based on MoreBeer's recipe, modified grain bill using info at https://sites.google.com/site/coloradoalelab/home/shallow-grave-porter-clone which seems to have infro straight switched to 90 minute mash to try and improve mash efficiency Dough in 152, spot on. 90 minute mash, stirred at 30 minutes and 60 minutes. Kegged on day 20. new FG hydrometer 1.012, other hydrometer 1.014
