Taste Notes

First taste on 5/9 was very delicious. Not overly hopped, just right or even a bit low for an IPA. Roastiness was a bit strong though. Maybe lower Black malt next time to .25#. After about 6 weeks in the bottle, roast flavors are strong (bordering on a stout) but not unpleasant. Hop flavor good but could shine through a bit more if roastiness was taken back a notch. Overall - very happy with results
