start heating - 39 liters
17 deg starting temp
11.30 - 41 deg
11.50 - 55 deg
12.15-12.18 add grin at 70.5, drop to 68, stable at 68
12:50 - 65 deg - fired up to 67/8
1.23, from 65 - 68
1.30, flame up
1.43 reached 76
1.50 grains out
gravity = 1.037
volume = 34.5l ??? with strainer
toped up water, didnt realise strainer in = 37l at 1.035
boil…. 15 min extra boil to reduce vol a little
3pm - 60 min hops 20g
3.20 vigorous boil - trying to reduce volume
3.50 - 20 min hops 26g
4.00 - chiller in to sterilise
4.05 - iris moss - 1/2 tab crushed with 1/2 cup cold boiled water
4.10pm - flame out, water through chiller on
4.20, 30 deg, 1.038
4:30, transfer to primary at 25 deg
estimating 3.7% abv
