Notes

single infusion rest came in a little low at 152 vice 154 pre-boil was higher at 1.046 and my OG came in at 1.061 with all target volumes for preboil and into fermentator hit. use weyermans pils from brewers connection on this one. During the boil the wort was not as clear as the Bo Pils I did early in the year. On that one a did a two step rest and used malt form Brew your own Brew. Whatever their stardard continental pils is??? added 8.72 grams of pellets at knock-out which were not on the receipe. The pils I did in the summer I used 14g at knockout. I thought the beer was a little too hoppy but others said it was ok. My concern with this one will be that it is not as malty as it should be because of a slightly lower mash temp. The batch in July was probably a little on the low side too, as I remember. Fermenation is at the 52-53 range and going well 2 days post pitch. Racked to keg on 01/13/15 gravity was 1.017 with an ADT of 71%. The summer brew had an ADT at racking of 73%
