Notes

Think of this as a “choose your own adventure” brew. A hybrid American and Belgian blonde malt and hop profile, but the yeast, and its characteristics, are up to you. Choose a Belgian yeast strain (M47 - Belgian Abbey) for fruity esters, with a slight phenolic clove-like Belgian taste profile. Or choose an American ale strain (M44 - US West Coast) for a clean, crisp flavor, allowing the malt backbone and spicy hop character to shine through. The use of local Triticale (a wheat/rye hybrid), provides a slight creamy texture, and spicy flavor. Either way, this is an excellent beer to get you through these hot, late-summer days.
