Taste Notes

Cloudy orange color. Strong citrus nose with a little grass coming through. Early on carbonation - needs a few more days. Clarified with geletin, but still getting yeast floaties. Should settle soon. Medium to light mouthfeel. Easy drinking. Smooth bitterness upfront moves to sharper on the back of the tongue.

Notes

First time using new temp controlled conical. Dumped Trub at 1 week - should have been after 3 days? Dry hopped for 3 days at 40F accidentally. Forgot to dry hop before cold crashing.

Good but needs some improvements

Next round will split the flavor additions between bittering and aroma. Also let hopstand a bit longer during whirlpool, and increase dry hop amount. Overall very happy with how this turned out. Part 2 should be even better.
