Taste Notes

@ secondary transfer - smooth with a nice slight bitter bite at the end. this is very nice for a non-carbonated 2 week old beer. citrus and smooth.

Notes

drop 4 oz of dry hops into secondary carboy and rack on top. do this 7 days before bottling. three days prior to bottling add another 2 oz of hops. NEXT TIME - bump up mash water/grain ratio and bump up grain to keep at some OG. Also bump up batch vol to 5.5 ot 6 gallons in order to account for more loss in trub after boil and in carboy during fermenation due to lots of dry hops. UPDATE @ secondary transfer - brew is a nice straw, slighty hazy color. that was before adding 4 oz of dry hops which made it a dark greenish brown. planning for 7 days in the secondary before bottling. 3 days prior will add another 2 oz of dry hops.
